1. Scope
This policy explains how refund requests are handled for paid ContractlyOne subscriptions and related purchases. The subscription, renewal, and cancellation terms in our Terms & Conditions also apply.
2. Free Trials
A free trial marked as free does not incur a subscription fee during the stated trial period. If a paid plan is offered after a trial, its price and billing schedule will be shown before you subscribe. You can cancel before a paid subscription begins to avoid that subscription charge.
3. Cancellations
You may cancel a subscription through your account settings, as described in our Terms & Conditions. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, your access continues through the end of the period already paid for; cancelling does not by itself refund that period.
4. Refund Eligibility
Contact us promptly if you believe a payment should be reviewed. We will assess requests involving circumstances such as:
- A duplicate charge or a charge for an amount different from the price shown at checkout.
- A subscription charge made after you had cancelled before the renewal date.
- A material service issue that prevented access to the paid service and that we were unable to resolve after you reported it.
- Any other situation where a refund or remedy is required by applicable law.
We review each request against the transaction details, account activity, and any applicable legal requirements. An example in this section does not guarantee a refund in every case.
5. Requests We Generally Cannot Refund
Unless required by applicable law or approved under the circumstances above, subscription fees are generally not refundable for:
- Unused time remaining after a billing period has started, including when you stop using the service or cancel mid-period.
- A change of mind, a change in business needs, or a failure to use the features included in your plan.
- Service interruptions caused by your own systems, network, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@contractlyone.com from your account email. Include the account or workspace name, the transaction or invoice ID, the charge date and amount, and a short explanation of the issue. Please do not send full payment card details.
7. Review and Processing
We will review your request and contact you by email if we need more information. If approved, a refund will generally be sent to the original payment method. The time it takes for the credit to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank. Any tax adjustment will be handled as required by law.
8. Your Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any right or remedy that cannot be limited or waived under applicable law. If a mandatory legal requirement conflicts with this policy, that requirement applies to the extent of the conflict.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our billing practices or legal requirements change. The latest version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
